As many of you ma know we have been struggling with Orange County on attempting to obtain a Permit for the Aerator/Fountain that was in installed in 2018 on Lake Grassmere. About 4 months ago we were ordered by the County to remove the Aerator until we had obtain a Permit. Over the past six months we've had our Attorney step in an attempt to understand exactly what we needed to apply for the Permit. Last month we were advised that we needed a Soil and Erosion study conducted to determine if they could issue a Permit. This study would cost us $4,700.00. Having done this study would not guarantee that the County would issue Permit to reinstall an aerator that was installed in 2018 at a cost of $3,300.00. Not knowing how long this aerator would last and the cost to obtain a Permit for a replacement makes this project not financially reasonable. The Board of Directors has decided to not move with the Permit process. We truly apologize to those of you that used to sit and watch the fountain.
