Commentary: President described that the main storm water drain that flows into the retention pond on Hole 9 has significant damage to the apron that forces the water into the pond. The concrete apron has broken up and water is is beginning to erode the landscape and filter under the storm drain. Our contractor CMS has evaluated the problem and will be providing us with a report. The President has turned project coordination over to Vice-President Richard Brown and Maintenance Supervisor Oscar Rivera. They will report to the Board as more information comes in.
New Business
Board approved Armstrong Consulting to conduct the 2024 Co-Op Reserve Study. The original company approved in April backed out as they felt they did not have the experience to audit a park our size and amenities. Cost $4,850.00
Board approved to replace two control boxes with radio controllers for $18.484.86 Reserve Line 37400-001 (irrigation/greens). Chuck McCloon (Golf Director) provided a summary of the need. Chuck stated that there are 12 control boxes on the course. His plan is to replace two a year. They are utilized to control the watering of the course through the irrigation system. The current clocks are 15+ years old and beginning to fail. Vendor: FIS Outdoor, Wildwood Florida
Board approved to replace the Golf Pro-Shop carpet for $6,299.00 from MPRE Today Carpet. Current carpet is 15+ years old. New carpet has a 15 year commercial warranty.
Mike Wetzel (Retired Maintenance Supervisor ) was honored by the Board and Administration. Cake was served following the meeting.
Board approved to have two trees trimmed and 2 removed in the area behind Greenbluff Ct. and between Hole 7 of the Golf Course. Juan Carrso was awarded the contract for $1,200.00.
Mick Finn, Chairman of the Documents Review Committee , asked th Board to Discharge the committee as all document have been reviewed and recommendations sent to the Board. The Board approved the request and thank all the members for their hard work and dedication.
